I Failed the UFE, Now What?
Author  Kayla Switzer, Edited by Bruce Densmore

An experienced writer’s survival guide was written by Kayla Switzer, MPAcc, CA.  It is a story of her struggle with not being successful on her first UFE attempt and her subsequent journey to success on the second attempt.  She takes you through the emotional aspects of not passing the UFE and offers advice on strategies to be successful on your subsequent attempt.  The book also takes you through functional aspects that only experienced writers have to deal with such as interpreting results, the decision to get a PAR or not and setting up a study schedule.  There is also a chapter for the supporters of experienced writers.

This is intended for experienced writers written by an experienced writer.  If you are registered in the Experienced Writers course do not order the book as we will give you a complimentary copy during the course.

UFE Success - 2010
"UFE Success" is the how to book on UFE preparation. It is included in the registration fee of the UFE prep courses. "UFE Success…" is written in a conversational style and offers advice on everything from preparing a study plan, to how to approach a comprehensive case, to how to deal with significant others. It is often jokingly referred to as the UFE bible.

Competency Map Study Notes
This set of integrative study notes was prepared by Kathy Wolfe, CA.  These notes are designed for competency map study and have an integrative examination focus instead of a pure technical study focus.  This is basically a handbook summary which is well written, concise and very useful but also covers all of the remaining competency areas including tax.  Full integration of IFRS coverage has been added for 2010.

Multiple Choice Questions Book
This is a four hundred question multiple choice book based on the CICA competency map. The multiple choice questions are arranged by competency area to facilitate study by topic area while leaving the flexibility to create your own mock examinations.  As well, they have been formatted into 8 - two hour exam sittings, to allow the writers to practice under time constraints, and this supplement can be purchased with the original book for a $20 additional charge if desired.
