Kathy received her CA designation in 1987 with a national firm.  Since leaving the national public accounting firm, she has taught full-time at a local university and then operated as a sole practitioner for over ten years.  She marked in the CICA’s UFE comprehensive marking centre for five years.  Kathy continues to teach part-time at local universities. 

Kathy has worked for Densmore Consulting Services since 1999.  She currently handles the administrative functions for course registrations and markers.  Kathy is the author of the Competency Map Study Notes, a publication that is growing in popularity each year for its concise handling of the UFE knowledge lists.

Kathy lives with her two daughters in Dartmouth, N.S.  She enjoys hiking, paddling, cycling and skiing.
